Menus

Manis Kitchenworks offers personalized cooking lessons designed around your needs and interests (ie: dairy-free, gluten-free eating, allergy friendly). Cooking lessons are open to individuals, families, and groups. Most private cooking lessons/demonstrations are an hour long, not including preparation and clean up time. Cooking lessons for 1-5 people are $150, not including food costs; please contact for group or corporate rates.

The following menus are designed to introduce clients to interesting new foods and cooking techniques. All recipes are interchangeable, so feel free to create your own menu!

Roasted Apple Breakfast Porridge, Quinoa Fried ‘Rice,’ Banana Cookies

Gluten-Freedom Menu:
Carrot and Quinoa Salad, Lemon & Mac Nut Kale, White Bean Soup, Baked Tofu

Locally Grown Goodies:
Lemon & Mac Nut Kale, Purple Potato Salad, Pressed Salad, Coconut Banana Bread

Local Flavors Menu:
Nori Rolls, Tempeh Musubi, Purple Potato Salad with Cashew Mayo, Vegan Mochi

Vegan Basics:
Basic Massaged Kale Salad, Miso-Tahini Dressing, Collard Greens Rolls, Homemade Veggie Burgers

The Decadent Vegan Menu:
Coconut Quinoa Risotto, Hemp & Almond Cabbage Slaw, Chocolate Tahini Cookies

Superfoods Menu:
Super Green Nori Rolls, Coconut Miso Chickpeas, Chocolate Energy Balls (like Larabars)

Comfort Foods Menu:
Orzo and Chickpea Salad, Baked Tofu, Fruit Crumble

Asian Fusion Menu:
Super Green Nori Rolls, Arame Seaweed Salad with Sesame dressing, Spicy Edamame, Black Rice Pudding

Omnivore’s Delight Menu:
Three-Grain Polenta, Smokey Tofu with Mushroom Gravy, Chocolate and/or Berry Mousse

Mexican Flavors Menu:
Mango & Black Bean Salad, Roasted Vegetable Burritos and Papaya Salsa, Spicy Chocolate Truffles

New-to-You Tofu Menu:
